The Rink at Lehigh Valley in its continued effort to bring ice hockey to the community has adopted a program designed for youth players 12 and under and the new player with little skating ability. Our Developmental Ice Hockey program will help your child further their skills on the ice.
We focus on developing the player’s abilities through repetition, and proper technique demonstration of drills. We then further increase your child’s playing ability and knowledge of the game by having controlled scrimmages. Finally and most importantly we make it FUN for the kids!

Program Requirements
Players must be 12 and under or have little skating ability. ICE FEES ARE FREE! A $50.00 fee will cover Registration cost, Administration cost, and a Rink at Lehigh Valley Jersey, the cost for each session and ice is completely FREE!!!!

All players are REQUIRED to have the following ice hockey equipment:
- Cup & Supporter
- Gloves
- Shin guards
- Shoulder pads
- Ice hockey stick
- Elbow pads
- Certified Ice Hockey helmet & face shield
- Mouth guard
- Ice hockey pants
- Ice hockey skates
- Socks to cover the shin guards
