Our skills have been developed as a challenging and rewarding beginner’s ice skating program. Participation in our progressive six week program will enable skaters the abilities to learn the fundamentals of ice skating while also teaching the skills necessary to advance to a competitive level of skating if desired or to our Free Developmental Ice Hockey Program. Each class is 30 minutes teaching and 30 minutes of practice time.
Learn to Skate Snowplow Sam
Our Snowplow Sam program is for tots ages 3 to 5. This program is designed to help pre-school age children develop the preliminary coordination and strength necessary to maneuver on skates while maintaining a fun and safe environment.
Learn to Skate Basic 1 through Free Skate 6
Beginner skaters, ages 6 to 65 will be introduced to the correct technique of the basic elements of skating in a fun and rewarding environment.
Hockey Learn to Skate Program
Our Hockey Learn to Skate program is designed to teach the fundamentals of hockey skating. The focus is on proper skating techniques and will be taught with hockey skates.
All participants must have an approved certified ice hockey helmet and hockey gloves. The fundamentals of this class are taught without a stick or puck
